Counseling for employees
Preventative counseling & employee coaching
46% of all sick leave is due to mental health issues. These may stem from personal or work-related problems. Research has shown that employees going through a difficult period experience a 50% loss in productivity due to reduced working hours and performance. This has significant negative consequences for both employees and employers.
By offering preventative counseling at the first signs of difficulty, the risk of sick leave can be significantly reduced.
Individual sessions
We provide individual sessions or company packages of 5, 10, 15, or 20 sessions at a discounted rate. You can also add management support, providing guidance for employers on how to best support their employees during what can often be a challenging period. Additionally, we offer managerial training to help leaders identify early signs of mental health issues among staff.
Proactive counseling for employees
The workplace can inform employees that counseling is available, even if no clear signs of mental health issues are present. This proactive approach helps prevent the development of mental health challenges at a later stage.
World Psychologists has extensive experience working with employees in diverse and complex organisations. We utilise effective tools to help prevent common workplace challenges. Preventative measures can be taken even before risks arise, helping employees build resilience for the future.
Counseling for employees through rehabilitation and coaching
When an employee is experiencing mental health difficulties, employers may need to initiate a conversation to determine the necessary support. Sometimes, workplace adjustments are enough, while in other cases, a period of sick leave with a structured return-to-work plan is required.
Early access to therapy can often reduce the duration of sick leave. We offer business packages of 5, 10, 15, or 20 sessions at a discounted rate. Management support can also be added, ensuring ongoing guidance for handling the situation appropriately.
Mental health and workplace performance
Employee well-being directly impacts workplace productivity. In some cases, issues are work-related, while in others, personal difficulties affect work performance. Often, it is a combination of both.
A mentally healthy employee is more likely to perform well at work. Our rehabilitation programme is designed for employees experiencing work-related mental health challenges, including burnout, anxiety, depression, and addiction.
Our therapy approach is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), addressing underlying issues to improve both well-being and workplace performance.
Internal and external stressors
Internal stressors include personal psychological challenges, while external stressors may involve workload, conflicts, or workplace dynamics.
We encourage employer involvement in rehabilitation, as workplace awareness and adjustments play a crucial role in an employee’s successful return to work.
Collaboration between employer and employee is key, with the shared goal of ensuring long-term well-being and job sustainability.
The aim of our therapy is to reduce avoidance behaviours and increase overall activity levels, particularly in relation to work and career progression. Rehabilitation always aims to support employees in returning to work and reducing sick leave durations.

Initial telephone consultation, we assess the employee’s needs and match them with the right therapist. We put a treatment plan with recommendation together after the first session, we suggest an estimated number of sessions required (e.g., 3 or 5). If the plan is agreed upon by the employeer, therapy continues with the assigned psychologist or therapist.
No ongoing fees – the company only pays for the sessions attended.
